With the all recent disappointment about the Toys R Us closing, I figured it would be good timing to share this small piece of nostalgia from Christmas 1998 - a Toys R Us flier from November 1998. I found this 10 years ago at a job I was working in 2008.. Inside an abandoned building was the Sunday newspaper from a weekend in Nov. 1998, with a few sales fliers inside. I snagged it mostly due to the video game nostalgia that comes with it.. as you'll see, there's a ton of gaming stuff inside from the late 90s, which is one of my favorite points in gaming. But once Toys R Us is gone, I guess this'll be good for Toys R Us nostalgia too.
I actually misplaced this flier for years and years, but just found it this past week while digging through some of my gaming stuff for something else. Sorry in advance for the crummy photo quality, but I had to reduce the picture quality due to the file size limits on the forums.

I figured I'd add some non-video game photos too, just to add the full Toys R Us effect to the photos. The actual catalog was a bit longer, but I selected all the video game stuff, plus a few extra pages. Hope you guys enjoy these.

As a bonus, for those of you from the Northeast, here's a few pages from a Caldor flier that I found in the same newspaper. This is also from November 1998. Caldor went out of business in 1999.
