Y'all are going to start calling me Mr. Pathetic by now, (though at least I've set SMW aside for awhile), but I'm kinda... stuck ...on the VERY FIRST boss in Super Princess Peach. I have gottten him down to being red (two skulls), but still die. Should Peach have only 3 hearts at this point? Anyway to refill hearts during battle? Any tips on this plant guy or is it mostly practice, practice, practice?....

I thought the Super Princess Peach boss battles were tough, too. You can buy more hearts in the store (press R on the menu screen and scroll over), but just know it is half a heart at a time. You can also buy a longer vibe meter, which is useful since you can get back health at any time if you hit the vibe power in the bottom right of the touch screen. As for the boss, make sure to use your crying power to grow the plants on either side, then filling it with water should be easy. Other than that just keep on trying. At least you don't have to do the touch screen mini game more than once.

Y'all know this, but yes, of course, I BEAT the boss. I can't believe it was so difficult for a first boss. The trick is this: Peach makes two beanstalks grow, must hop on them, flood the plant-dude with water and hop on his belly. BUT rather than hopping from stalk 1-2 and back, stay on stalk one! On S-2 you must be lower, and are thus open to attack. On s-1 you are ABOVE the plant guy. So I just kept hopping back to S-1 and killed it (in a bloody, gory, mangled heap of-uh-plant leaves) easily, losing only half a heart!
Is there a SPP players guide, like the NSMB one?
By the way, YES I am making progress in SMW now too, though slowly since I'm playing two games at once here!
