I am not sure if it is OK to post this here, but I started my own channel on Youtube. Right now I am reviewing Atari 2600 games because it is very easy. However I plan on branching out soon to include Intellivision, Colecvision, Atari 5200 and 7800. My channel is extremely basic, as I lack the understanding or experience to produce a good quality video. Nothing fancy here. But I suppose I will get better as I go on. If anyone would like to check it out I would greatly appreciate it.

From what I understand, the only way to get really good at something creative is to do it a lot before you're good at it. Good luck on the channel!

I think posting links to your reviews has a green light from the Critic, but please post write-ups around your review. It is probably best put under Reader Reviews, with a good title.
Have fun making your reviews.

I moved the thread no need to create another one.
Good luck with your channel. You gotta start somewhere.

Re: My Youtube channel
I just posted an Intellivision overview. Keep in mind it isn't very good at all, but you have to start from the bottom I guess.

You can post links if you want. I know a lot of forums block new users from posting links, but I don't think the mods do that here.
Not a bad overview. You might want to consider adding a front light; you were almost silhouetted in the beginning. A mike might've also helped; your voice was a bit quiet in the beginning & there was too much echo.
A bit of history on the games might've been interesting. How did an Atari game, like Centipede, get released on a system made by Mattel? How did an Mattel game get released on the Atari? Was there a version of Donkey Kong on the Intellivision, or did Intellivision users have to buy Beauty and the Beast?
I like the fact that you shot the TV screen instead of taking a direct feed. That might not be everyone's preference tho.

Thanks for watching. I appreciate all of your help and input. Honestly I need all the help and criticism I can get. Plus I cannot think of a better place to come for help and advice than here. I am still very amateurism with my videos. A little insecure too. But I will keep on working to improve upon my videos. But yes I did want to capture footage on a old TV so everyone can see how these games looked authentically.
