Looking at the screenshot in the VGC review it seems this game has pretty much ZERO connection to actual pachinko. I was wondering how such an old machine could attempt to emulate the craziness of actual pachinko.

One comment about actual pachinko in Japan... it's illegal to win money off of it.  You win balls, which you cash in for prizes, then you go around the corner to the exchange booth and trade the prizes you won for money.  A little more complicated than Vegas...

Also, I doubt the 2600 game can accurately re-create how incredibly LOUD a pachinko parlor is.  It's like standing in a jet engine.

In the old days you had to use your imagination to fill in the blanks...
especially with O2 and 2600...

Such as a simple game like Asteroids on 2600... the Asteroids look closer to
"fruity pebbles" up close, floating down the screen.

Indy 500 on 2600, certainly doesn't emulate Nascar racing!
