Shopping at Target, one occasionally finds themselves taking a stroll in the video game ailes while the wife is buying whatever crap she actually came to the store to get (okay, okay. I actually mean every time we go to Target...).

I'm saving my pennies for an Xbox 360 and a Wii later on, so I've already got a nice big chunk of future earnings tied up. So... that means budget games for Rob! (-:

Drill Spirits was such a budget grab, picked up for $20 bucks. I won't go to the same level of detail that I usually do here, because this game requires little of that. Here's my review:

A decent puzzler that at $20 or less isn't a mistake to buy. However, this title does NOT feature single cart multiplayer, which diminishes its potential to a "play once in awhile, trade in when you are buying something better" type of title. Grade: C-, maybe a C+ or so for big puzzle fans or casual gamers.

Well, you could if you were a big lover of puzzle games. A "B" would certainly be the "top end" that you could consider this game.

It's enjoyable but not amazing. It also has that super cutesy hyper peppy Japanese type presentation, which I find endearing but others would no doubt find irritating.

I'm not a big puzzle game guy, at least with single player. I do like playing them with the wife on the Wi-fi, IF I don't have to buy two carts!
