I was always intrigued by this one.  For DC you get four games 3 of them classics.  On 1 disk and I got it cheap £4.. about $6.  So cheaper than buying one game off XBL @ 800 msp.
First of all you get space channel 5 which was not released in the UK.  With good reason its virtually impossible.  Now some might like rythmn action games but they are low down on my list of genres I like.  This one starts easy and gets really hard really quickly.  I played it once but never again.
Next up is the classic Crazy taxi.  This game rocked on the DC so I was really looking forward to it.  The change in the music really does not help this game.  Next up the control seems a bit off but its still quite good fun.
Then there is Sonic adventure which bears quite a good resemblance to the game on the 360 which was pants.  Also even worse is that this is in 4 by 3.  If you are into sonic games well you might like this.  I thought it was quite good.
Then the powerhouse that is Sega Bass fishing.  Well surprise surprise it really is pretty good.  Though I really miss the fishing rod peripheral.
So you get a couple of good games, one okay and one curio.
Where this compilation really falls down is the presentation.  Its like one of those dodgy dvds you get cheap.  A single screen with four games on it.  Highlight them to play it and that is your wack.
For me as DC fan I think they could have done alot better.  C

I agree this is a disappointment.  Worse yet, there's no extra goodies for those of us who already own these games, is there?

This is a physical compilation of XBLA games. So I don't see how you can fault it for not including things that aren't even available on XBLA like Chu Chu Rocket.

I, for one, am glad that so many XBLA compilations exist. They might not go above and beyond just including what was released on XBLA, but the important thing is getting the games themselves on an actual disc (And usually at a big discount, especially after a bit of time has gone by, compared to downloading them seperately in digital form).

It's Space Channel 5 Part 2, actually, which was released worldwide on the PS2.

And yeah, this is just a bare-bones compiation of XBLA games, though at least it a) means those games will always be available and b) you can get them used for cheaper than the standard XBLA price tag. Too bad they're ports, rather than original XBLA games, though.

Sorry for the typo Adamant and thanks for the correction.  It is indeed Space Channel 5 part 2.  The dreamcast version was never released in the UK.  Being from the UK I can say that.   Though dance rythmn games have never been my thing ...  Though I do play guitar hero occasionally....

I don't think North America ever got it either on the Dreamcast. I bought a deluxe pack on the PS2 to get it with it bundled with the original to get it.
