More Halloween leftovers! He's a pretty sweet platformer for the Game Boy Advance.

It's amazing all the Halloween games that get reviewed after Halloween, lol. I know it takes a while to get them out but since I like Halloween a bunch I'm always down for these types of games. This one looks pretty good. It's odd to think of a movie based game that is good (there are quite a few but usually they are pretty bad). I'm glad that it sounds like they stuck with the standard platforming segments instead of trying to do some weird gimmick that ultimately fails. This sounds quite good. Thanks for the review.

I tend to overlook movie-based games as 9 out of 10x they totally stink. Tim Burton Nightmare before Christmas on the GBA, no less, sounds like pure garbage. I love exceptions and it looks like I might actually pick this one up. Thanx for the review Critic. Reviews for the obscure old games tend to be my favorites.

The mixing of the holidays in the movie never bothered me. Me and my wife love that movie and watch it at both Holloween and Christmas. "What's this" is totally a Christmas song, and "This is Holloween" is a Holloween one. It's all good. It's on my top five movies of all time list. Also, Easter makes a brief apearance. If you found this disconcerting, you really shouldn't watch "Rise of the Guardians."

It's been a while since I've seen it, but wasn't the entire point of the movie that Jack isn't as good at Christmas as he is at Halloween? I think the fact that he makes it awkward is the storyline.

Yeah, I found that first sentence of the review to be odd. You know going into the movie that it's a blend between Halloween and Christmas. A comparable sentence would be "The one thing about Star Trek that bothered me was the fact it took place in space."

Incidentally, I was flipping around on the TV remote last night and this movie was on one of the cable channels! I watched it for about 10 minutes and remembered how much I hated it.

I don't really observe Christmas or Halloween really, but this is one of my favorite films. It sits firmly in my list of top 10 animated features. I can't imagine how anyone could hate it or be put off by the mixing of themes.

I'm not a fan of the movie, either. When it first came out, I drove 100 miles to the next city to see it, because it wasn't playing in my city. I even bought the soundtrack before I saw the movie. But it was a major disappointment. It looks amazing, but I found the music unmemorable and the story didn't compel me.

Driving 100 miles just to see a movie? Damn that's insane! I could never do that no matter how good a movie looks.
