These are two new Wii U titles you'll want to be aware of.  Comments?

How does it relate to the 3DS version they released last year? This is one game that I think I would buy if I had a WiiU for sure. Although I think I am a little burned out on Mario games.

Man, you overrated 3D world by a mile! It's more of a B+ game.

Great reviews. Glad to see Super Mario 3D World did so well. Hopefully it is the start of the Wii U getting a constant stream of grade A titles (hopefully). How does this compare to Super Mario Galaxy 2?

Critic, this is why I keep coming back to this site. The phrase "it manages to deliver real 3d action with all the fun of a 2d title" perfectly describes this game. And speaking of perfection, this game comes damn close.

NewModelArmy- I've never played it, but the general consensus is that the last 3ds outing was underwhelming. But Super Mario 3d World constantly surprises you. It's a completely fresh Mario experience.

Maybe DuckTales is a good game, but I can't stand the cutscenes. I also can't stand the way you have to skip them. Why you first have to pause and then skip? Why not just press the button once to make that endless dialogues go away!

billydeethrilliams - are you saying Super Mario 3D Land on 3DS was underwhelming
(or am I missing something?) I thought it was pretty good.

NewModelArmy - "I think I am a little burned out on Mario games". Strangely, I feel a little the same way. I mean, it are all excellent, quality, fun games. But I don't know. Maybe we played too many of them.

No. Super Mario 3D World is a wonderful game. It deserves that A+.

Captain Crunch- Whoops! I was actually thinking of New Super Mario Bros 2. I completely forgot about 3D Land. Yeah, I heard 3D Land was pretty good. Just look at the Critic's glowing review.

Honestly, it doesn't even deserve that. It's just the VGC sucking up to yet another overrated, shallow Mario Game as usual. Look past the Mario title: What lies behind that familiar name is a game that's average at absolute best.

Some of us prefer a streamlined and polished Nintendo style platformer over the tedious minigame search that is sandbox gameplay, or the military fetish style of 1st person carnival shoot out galleries. If you think 3D World is an average game, it's difficult to take you seriously.

Just insulting a mainstream brand doesn't automatically make you a critic.
