I've spent probably around 1000 hours playing the NBA 2K games on the PC, so I'm well aware of a lot of the little annoyances each iteration has, but overall, the series brings a level of accessible realism to the sport that MLB The Show and Pro Evolution Soccer did to theirs.

I'm likely going to wait until the next-gen engine appears in the 2K15 PC version, but I'm glad to hear the PS4 version still plays similarly to the previous-gen's.

Good reviews, that pinball game looks like a ton of fun. 22 tables is a great value for 40 bucks.

I have NBA 2K14 for the PS4. I would honestly give this game a B+/A- as it is real good. I have to agree I had the same issue Dave did where my data got erased...twice! Also I made it to the all-star game in the career mode where the game locked up and I can't even play the next game. I have downloaded the newest version of the PS4 software hoping that would help and I have since started a new career and no issues so far knock on wood.

rdreynolds-What machines do you have?  If there's one table i'd like to own it's Barb Wire.

I think the Critic touched on a good point about NBA 2K14; there's just too many control options. With the analog stick and all the different motions you can do in all of the different spots on the court with all of the different player positions its nearly impossible to consistently know what you're doing. I can pull off awesome moves like most people, but I can't repeat them on command. Shooting in NBA 2K just feels like dumb luck. I prefer the old NBA Live shooting.

Lord of the Rings is one of my favorite pins. Back when they were new I played 4 different ones at different places. 3 out of the 4 machines all had the same problem; the center ramp was just way too dang hard to hit. I think it must have been a common problem for that machine. One of my favorite pins for sure. One more reason for me to be jealous of the Critic.
