Let me know what you think about this new set of SNES game reviews.

I've beaten all three SNES DKC games, but not 100%. IMO, DKC3 deserves the Arthur award for "Lightning Lookout". It took me so long to finally beat that level. "Poisonous Pipeline" with the reverse controls is also really annoying.

I remember playing Jungle Book when I was a kid. I could never get past the tree level (I think it was level 3) where Kaa shoots freaking homing missiles at you. That guy could take an unreasonable amount of hits.
Mbd36, remember the level with the giant saw? That one took me forever to beat. But I agree with the critic, it's the easiest one of the three.

Does the comment about Dixie and Kiddy's prominence deserve an 'in hindsight' (today they aren't big names of the Kong family, but I admit that I can't remember how well they were received back in the day; I personally don't recall having any issue with them when playing)?

I love the DKC series on the SNES and I think you're review hit it spot on. It definitely is the weakest of the three entries yet it's still a blast to play. Hard as hell though (I'd support the Arthur award).

I'm somewhat proud that I beat all three games on the PC with an emulator, lag and all. The slight lag probably made "Lightning Lookout" that much harder.

Was DKC 3 a re-review? I thought for sure that you reviewed all 3 of the SNES DKC games at one point not too long ago.
Also, thanks for introducing me to the Chase HQ series. I gotta try it, but where do I start? How would you rank the three you've already reviewed?

He had reviewed all 3 SNES DKC games and then re-reviewed them. He's always re-reviewing games.
