It's been a while since I reviewed three Atari 2600 games I've never reviewed before, but here you go.

Awesome! All three reviews seem balanced and thoughtful, though the only one of these I've played much is Ram It. I've always coveted the special controllers used for Spitfire Attack and Survival Run.

Love Ram it so much.  For me an A plus.  Really you can just play it all day...

Looks like we have the Holy Trinity of Mediocrity here -- three C-minuses...

And FYI, the Rams were in LA back in '86, not St. Louis (great video though).

I usually agree with the reviews here, but I can't disagree more on Subterranea...I love it, I consider it a true jewel and I think that only Stargate reaches that level of excellence in side-scrolling shooters for VCS. Well, Stargate may be even better, but the control scheme in Subterranea is much simpler.

I was also surprised that you didn't like Subterranea more. It's definitely one of my favorites. However, I enjoyed reading all three reviews. You really made me laugh at your comments in Ram It. And with a name like that, it deserves to be made fun of!

Thanks for the reviews. Subterranea is actually one of my top 20 Atari 2600 games, and I find myself playing it fairly often. I know it's quite rare, but I actually found myself in possession of 2 copies of it at one point, although I traded one away for Double Dragon on the 7800. To me, it's another great Imagic game and a fun pick-up and play shooter.

I 100% agreed with your take on Spitfire Attack. Great presentation, fun for a little while, but ultimately shallow gameplay.

Ram It doesn't remind me of Turmoil, it reminds me more of Squeeze Box by US Games (which scored an F).
