So I played Steep for half an hour today. It is free this weekend on Xbox live.

I agree with everything that the critic says about this game. Where did they go wrong? Not the question to ask, where did they go right?
Truly lamentable. I played the first bit.. you have to fly with a wing suit down to somewhere. Only I could not do it. I thought it was supposed to be a snow boarding game. After a couple of tries I gave up in disgust.

The graphics are awesome. It has been professionally produced but it really lacked something... enjoyment...

Got an email from Ubisoft today. Check it out below. Only 15 minutes of my time! So nice of them! Sorry, but I wasted enough of my life playing Steep.

Dear Rider,
You have been selected to take part in a survey based on your experience with Steep™.
Regardless of how much you have played the game, your opinion is very important to us.
This survey should only take 15 minutes of your time. Your feedback will definitely help us make Steep a better game in the future!
To thank you for your participation, we will add 50 Units to your Ubisoft Club account if you complete the survey!

This gives a few more games that should get the icon.

Online Only games? Say it ain't so.. I predicted back in 2012 when I got Diablo III that online-only games would become the norm one day and nobody listened.. So now we got games we can't get rid of because they are sapping our systems of memory and space.
