For the record, this was also released in the US and simply called Strider.

I remember playing an hour or two into it a long time ago, but I should probably revisit it.

Shout out to velcrozombie for that free steam key of Strider. It definitely is a fun game (although having little introduction of the story makes the game jarring for me.)

This is not a Japanese exclusive...In fact I seem to recall that it sold really well in the US.

I believe it was only available in physical form in Japan.

Ah, no kidding? I've been seeing a lot of games like that lately. I guess physical media remains as popular as ever overseas.

Yeah th hee critic is right, I had to import this one as it's the only way to get a physical copy. Surprisingly, there are quite a few digital only titles that gota physical release overseas. This game is a lot of fun and the graphics are gorgeous. Nice review!

The game was developed by Double Helix, a US company.

I bought, played and beat the Strider reboot on PS4 and it was excellent. Didn't realize there was a Japanese physical release on PS3, so I guess I'm heading to eBay!
