VideoGameCritic wrote:I played this game with a few friends recently and it was pretty dreadful. Granted, it would probably be better if you're drinking and in a goofy mood. Maybe my friends weren't in the right frame of mind. Maybe we weren't being competitive enough.

But it's the games themselves that really fall flat. Very unimaginative - and that torture wheel really lived up to its name!

Based on feedback I think I need to give this another chance. Until then I do give respect to gamers who can find goodness in a game like this!

Glad to hear you're willing to give it another go! If you just gave it an F right off the bat, I'd respect that, since not everyone can appreciate these kinds of games. But the huge dropoff from C+ to F makes me suspicious that you were just in very different mindsets for the two reviews.

But I do agree with you about the torture wheel, for sure. Getting stuck on that is awful..it takes at least a couple missed turns just to get yourself off that thing. I also agree that the mini-games are very unimaginative and not fun at all. At the end of the day, this is one of those games where you have to look past the crappiness of its core gameplay and appreciate it for its quirky personality.

If nothing else, I may be able to tailor the review to emphasize it "so bad it's good" qualities. I think I originally played this with my old buddy Steve, and it wasn't hard to make him laugh. He was probably the right kind of person to play this game with. Too bad he moved away.
