This should complete my collection of college football reviews for the Genesis.

These are really interesting looking games. I thought would have been amazing if these games were beefed up and released on the Saturn or the 3do (EA had a lot of ports to the 3do), as I didn't think those consoles got a college football game. Conceivably the graphics could've been upgraded massively. It's easy to understand how these games, especially '97, are relatively lesser known, considering they were released when everyone was transitioning to the PS1. It seems like these games are way better than they would've been if they tried to make them 3d and put it on the Saturn. Having said that, it's probably the best that could've been done in 1995-1996 with the technology available. There still weren't any must have 3d football games by 1995-1996 in my opinion.

I've never played any serious sports sims, but for whatever reason, I love reading these series reviews. They're some of your best work - giving life to some of the most unjustly forgotten games out there.
