Here are two new PS4 game reviews for your reading enjoyment. I guess Redout should get a budget icon also.

Sorry to hear about Redout. I had hoped it would be a bit like Microsoft's Quantum Redshift.

You could still review Fatal Inertia on the 360. It is Keoi's Wipeout clone. It is not great but it sounds like it is better that Redout. I had such high hopes for that game.

I haven't played the original 360 Fatal Inertia, but I really like the supposedly improved Fatal Inertia EX on the PS3. It has a very interesting emphasis on physics and pitch control, and while that sometimes just means that your (gratuitously customizable) vehicle is frustratingly wobbly, at its best the game is like nothing else. The natural environments are also a breath of fresh air for the subgenre.

Time trial is the only fun in Redout as you get to play the tracks. Then look at them. Your summation of the points of interest on this racing game are right on the money. Initially I did not think it was right as I was playing the gorgeous tracks on the dlc. It is when you playing the base game you get to see all of the problems. The narrow tracks mean you crash a lot and lose places. Thought there is nothing else like it out there.

Online. There is no one playing the game. It is a shame as I would like to try it out just to see how good it was.

I suggest you try Fatal inertia on the 360. It is a good wipeout clone but not without its problems. The Multiplayer was fun too. Though since they did not make many of them it is a bit expensive and hard to find.

For time trials I give Redout a A plus. For the base game a c+.
