Not a great game, but might appeal to fans of the film.

Seems like the grade being poor despite the positive nature of the review may be because it seems to have all the makings of a fun little game, but is just executed in frustrating ways? Never played it, but I am just making an assumption.

Also, I did mention this game in the winter games thread. I saw it while looking through a bin of GBA games, figured it was a good game to talk about as a possible Christmas game review. So, I wonder if my mentioning of the game sparked this review.

CharlieR - Yes, you prompted this review. I hadn't heard of this game before, so thanks. Elf: The Movie is a nice dose of Christmas cheer, but not much of a game, which explains the mediocre grade.

That game looks abysmal. I will not be buying it or trying it. Though Sega should make a portable version of Congo bongo. I would get that game.
I loved the movie. I guess you have already watched Daddys home 2.

Glad I could help. As I was digging through the pile of GBA games, I spotted the game and thought "I wonder if the critic knows about this as a fun Christmas game." On a side not, the GBA library is huge, and it always seems that I find out new games that I never knew existed.

I bought the Santa Clause 3 for GBA last year based on a review here, and it seems like these two games are pretty similar.
