Nice review. I remember enjoying playing through the mission mode on this one.
The guest reviewer might be interested to know that this saw a HD release later on the Xbox 360 as Indianapolis 500 Evolution, with a lot more circuits that are now sadly just memories like the long gone road course in Riverside California and the kidney bean shaped oval in Trenton New Jersey with a left hand kink on the back straight.
With the wireless Xbox 360 motion wheel that you use like a Wiimote in a Mario Kart wheel shell, it might even play like the Wii version (although I've never owned that accessory and just have used the standard Xbox 360 controller).

Certainly a heartfelt review, but I'm watching gameplay on Youtube and it looks bland and repetitive. Maybe I'll give it a try if I find it in the bargain bin. BTW, the user score is A+ with 5 votes; this makes me not trust the user scores
