Sarcasm? No, I think they're pretty poor explanations for why this thing didn't include more games, especially space constraints. But it sounded good for the interview.

Good to hear.  Oh, and by the way, you may want to read this new announcement regarding Streets of Rage's Virtual Console debut on Wii.

Even better, the ESRB will have to rate it in this form, and now we can see what it's really worth nowadays.  It could completely destroy Sega's M rating (and even perhaps Teen rating) worries regarding their past collections.

Now it's official; Sega's refusal to put Streets of Rage in compilations is inexcusable.  Hopefully, now nothing will keep us from rereleases (on Virtual Console) and compilations of/containing the games.
