You should see the bumped up price they are charging in Europe, at current exchange rates it is $838.

Because you can't find the Wii anywhere. The PS3 is more available than Nintendo's system at the moment.

I already own a Wii, but I ask retailers about it from time to time and they always say the same thing, "Good luck getting a Wii, most shipments sell out within a few hours."

In Europe it's the other way around: the Wii is avaible (mostly), the PS3 isn't even released yet over here!

The Wii is no more available here than in the US. They do pop up in stores sometimes, but they're always gone the next day.
