And that's why I run this site. I see what's happening out there and it stinks. My reviews may not be the best, but at least I'm not a corporate whore.
Let's be more specific Dave... you're not a VIDEOGAME corporate whore :-) Good review though and dead-on. Yeah, the game has a few minor glitches but we all had a blast playing it and it's as good a reason as any to get a 360 if you've been on the fence.
This harkens back to what I've said on other threads. Experience is what makes the game to me. You can have horrible graphical "glitches," but fun is fun. More often than not, technical glitches are a symptom of sloppy design, but they are not the cause.
With high powered middleware becoming the norm, more and more games are going to be just fine technically. It's in the design, _the fun factor_ , that sets them apart.
Magazine review people tend to use the checklist system. Can't be an A if it doesn't have X thing.
[QUOTE=Edward M]This is the game Lost Planet should have been, and incredibly overrated game, even by you.
Now that is the truest prose I have heard in a long time. Hell Yeah! ED is a cracker and this review go me to buy it.
