Rob,
I appreciate what you're saying, and I agree there is an audience for every game. Even the worst game will be loved by some. I tend to review games with the "average Joe" in mind - a guy who wants to play a fun baseball game without having to struggle with the controls for a half hour or set the price of the hot dogs!

So, by that logic, then there must be people out there who loved Superman 64. Wait a second, actually, I'm pretty sure there are people who liked that game; namely, some of the people who worked on it and have their names in the credits.
