Now there's an ET I've never played, but would like to.

I've not played any of these but would like to comment:

First, in the third game you mentioned "mini games"... I'm prety sure the term "mini game" did not exist when this was created.
These would be "missions" you are sent on. It's like calling the bonus level of Galaga a "mini game"!

Second, E.T. .... it surprises me that you like this game while trashing the 2600 version even though the goals are essentialy the same! Ok,ok, you don't have those annoying pits but still.. find phone pieces, avoid bad guys, get E.T. to mother ship. Dude, the graphics to me actually look a bit WORSE than the stylized 2600 game. Why this E.T. adventure, with a touch of computer polish, gets high grades while the excellent 2600 adventure is dumped on I'll never know. 2600 E.T. rulz da houss!

Battlezone was great for the time.  Remember that this like a lot of the other titles was first released for the Atair 800 and yep it is dated but that is coz it is 30 years old. 20 years ago I bought that and said wow..... wow.....
