Here are some new DS game reviews.  Let's hear what you have to say about them.

Nice reviews Critic.  Glad you took the time to enjoy Chrono Trigger...I really need to pick that one up for the DS.

Also I think you should trademark the term slugalicious.

Thanks for the reviews critic. Nice to see you review an RPG. Coincidental timing-- I was one of the few that missed Chrono Trigger on the SNES and being an RPG fan I decided to purchase.... and just finished it this week actually. I agree with the B rating. I can understand why it's considered a classic but I think I've just lost my fondness for 2D RPGs over the years (but CT's lack of random encounters is one saving grace). However, I disagree with you assessment of using the stylus... I never once had to take out the stylus during the game. You can use the D-pad and face buttons to enter and navigate the menus... and it works fine. I prefer that method over the stylus.

Great reviews, as always... Still, the original Legend of Kage was in the arcade, and the awesome NES game is actually a port.

" The first save opportunity doesn't appear until an hour in!"

You can save at the world map.

has anyone played the DS chrono trigger and the SNES version? i own the SNES version, which i love, but i don't know if it's worth plopping down 40 smackers for basically the same game. is the DS game different enough from the original to give it a look?

Nice reviews, but personally, Chrono Trigger would have gotten an A+ from me!

Another criticism to be logged against LoK2 -- most of the enemies you can flat run right past to get to the end of the stage.

Yes but the world map is not available until about an hour into the game.  I should probably clarify that.

I would personally say to bump Chrono Trigger's "B" up to an "A". However, that's my opinion; for the most part I liked your review. I was also really glad to see you review Metal Slug! (Chrono Trigger was my Christmas present and I kinda wanted Metal Slug as well.) I agree you need to trademark "slugilicious"
