I might have to pick up the genesis collection my only hindered problem is paying for the same game for now the 4th time..original, dreamcast, ps2 now ps3...ugh...but HD

Also I hope you didnt buy 2k9 because MLB 09The Show this year for ps3....amazing cant wait till you play it.   Also try not to get obsessed with the personal cheers and boos you can record or the custom walk up music...many hours wasted, oh so fun

Keep in mind that the graphics in these old games are NOT any higher in resolution.  They just looker clearer on an HD display.

On the Sega collection:  granted, the stock 360 controller isn't great for 2D, but what about the Street Fighter IV controller?

Just curious.

Nice reivews, though.

Did you just say Flicky hasn't aged well? Bollocks, that game is as great as ever.
(oh, and you should do a full review of it. It's a really underrated gem)

Glad to see you like the Genesis collection so much. It's probably the game I spend the most time playing right now. The only problem is that the 360's crappy dpad makes controlling the games a bit harder than it should be.

Is it worth it to pick this one up if you already have the ps2 genesis collection?  I do love me some e.s.w.a.t.

Just like Street Fighter IV you picked up Sonic Ultimage Genesis Collection for the wrong system.

While the PS3's D-Pad certainly isn't anything special, it is much better for 2D games and fighters.

I own the collection on the PS3 and can attest to the excellent d-pad and face button placement.
