Fanatstic reviews, I never played much of san andreas but jak 2 gets a C no doubt. What a horrible let down that whole franchise became, especially since jak and daxter was one of my favorite early ps2 games.
I also found Jak 2 to be overrated as well. Then again, I hated the first one as well.
Will you review Going Commando (sequel to Ratchet & Clank)?
Thanks for the reviews. I'm disappointed that no one can make a good beatemup anymore. Maybe someone should do a 2D one on the DS, they seem to screw those up less often.
Oh, and as a review request, can you review the new Final Fight on the PS2?
If you thought 'Jak II' was dark wait until you play 'Jak 3.' Seldom has a kid-friendly videogame series turned so downbeat, violent and unlike its original game. I actually enjoyed playing 'Jak II' and 'Jak 3,' but 'Jak & Daxter' is the only game in the series that I've gone back to and replay after being done with it (same as I did with Naughty Dog's 'Crash Bandicoot' games).
I agree with you on GTA. I really wanted to like this game and it was one reason I bought an Xbox. The best part by far were the radio stations (you didn't mention they were radio stations in your review-just called it a soundtrack), and I liked the Pimp missions. Other than that... blah. The controls were bad and the graphics were hard to stomach. Looks like an early PS1 game.
I know you hate review bloopers. You use the word "that" rather than "than" when comparing it to Vice City early in the review and one of the cities is modeled after Las Vegas... not San Diego
