I was reading through your Atari 2600 game reviews, and I noticed for Phoenix, you said the following:
"The game cost me $36, and adjusted for inflation, that's over $4,800 in today's currency."
This is extremely exaggerated. According to this calculator, $36 in 1983 equals $89.05 in 2017 (sorry to burst your bubble ).
I was born in the mid 90s, so growing up we had an Xbox and an Atari 2600 that my dad had as a kid. We had a box full of games (including 4 copies of Space Invaders, one with a picture label), but no Phoenix. Unfortunately, we had a flood in our basement about 10 years ago and lost an Atari 2600 console and every game except Golf and Combat. I am into programming, so for some reason I became interested in buying some 2600 carts on eBay. (I know assembly, and I'm currently learning to program the 2600. Hopefully I will see some of my future games reviewed here!) I now own Phoenix, and it is pretty fun (although not on my top 10 list). I prefer Demon Attack, but the boss level is pretty cool.
