My friends and I were really blown away by this one.  All Intellivision fans should try to track down a copy.

One of the few times a screenshot is worth a million. Thanks for reviewing this game.

Nice review on this game! I would have given it an A- because of the glitches.

How would you, the Video Game Critic, compare this version of Donkey Kong for the Intellivision with the version included with Donkey Kong 64?

Seeing as that's the arcade version in DK64, I'd this Intellivision one looks to be the closest reproduction of it I've seen.  The closest replication outside of that I'd say is the Game Boy game, although people say that it doesn't count because it only comprises the game's opening stages (to which I say back, even then it's closer than the NES ever got, and it was a more powerful system).

This does seem like an awesome homebrew.

I think the closest versions so far that I've played have been the 2 Commodore 64 versions.

Man, you guys really need to mod an original Xbox and throw MAME on there. Thousands of arcade-perfect games right on your TV, not to mention emulators for all the old systems. It really isn't that hard...

You just don't get it. The fun is getting these old consoles to do it...most of us probably run emulators already.

MAME is awesome by the way.

Just a personal opinion, you were a little generous with this one. I find that it was a little dissopointment in the control department, a little stiff. The graphics, are kind opf weird, the bonus items one solid color. And the place of the score and timer.
