Here are three brand new Jaguar reviews for your reading enjoyment.  Actually Wolfenstein is a re-review, but I didn't change the grade.

Doom is a trainwreck, but the other two games are great.

Comments?

Wow I totally disagree with your opinion of Doom. This is my favorite console port. It was released as a launch title for the Jag so of course it did not support the 6 button controller. It should really be compared to the 32x port and this one is vastly superior. Don't get how you think the graphics are worse when they are about the same as the PC port at the time, and I also LOVE that the music is off during game-play giving it a better atmosphere IMO.

Great to see some new Jaguar reviews!!!

Nice review of Towers II.  I own the game, but have never really found the time to play it.  Guess I should, huh?

As far a Doom, I don't have much experience with other versions, so I can't really compare and contrast it.  But I guess I never thought it was that bad?

P.S.  Maybe you could put Jaguar SpaceWar 2K on your "to do" list?  I think it's pretty good, for an unfinished game....

An F doesn't even make sense.
An F should be ment for really sucky titles as Cheetahmen II for NES of Dark Castle for Genesis.

For some reason these reviews don't appear on the main page.

I also 100% disagree with your Doom review. I couldn't agree more with how you graded the Jaguar port of Wolfenstein 3D, however. Great game that tends to be overlooked on the platform in the shadow of Doom and Alien Vs. Predator.

The Jaguar version of Doom was the only port of it's time to actually be programmed by iD. It looks and plays pretty much just like the PC original, minus the background music and a couple of enemies. It was hands down the best console version to get until the PSX came out with it's own Doom games.

I disagree with your Doom review.

I mean seriously you gave 32x version a better score....

An F score is in my opinion the sort thing you reserve for games like White Men Can't Jump.

Yes, Jaguar reviews! I also disagree with the Doom review, although some of the criticisms are valid. However, I find myself really enjoying the game when I get a chance to play it.

I wish I had Towers II. Anyone know where I can get it without taking out a second mortgage?

Jaguar Doom gets an F?! And the 32x version is a C? That is totally insane. The graphics compare very well to other versions of Doom from that era. Is the lack of music really that important? I wonder how much time you even spent with the game before you decided it was an F. You lose credibility points in my book for that. You're totally wrong about Doom.
