Bionic Commando--the 2009 sequel to the NES game

Hello, haven't been here in a while.

Has anyone played this?  It's the 3D one, the one where Rad Spencer has dreadlocks.  I got it for 5$ on Steam a few weeks ago;  I had trepidation of picking this up in the past, because of the mediocre reviews.

I'm really enjoying it--except for the bad design choices of dreadlocks and the "dangerous radiation"-as-invisible wall.  Those are really the only two things I can level against it--it's probably the most fun linear 3D action shooter of recent years.  The bionic is the only physics-based weapon I've seen that has upped Half-Life's gravity gun.

I think there was some group-think involved when the media reviewed this--it's a really great game, a legitimate successor to the the original.  A lot of criticism was directed at the bionic arm, but it feels just like the original, in terms of velocity and timing.
