Well this one should be easier, after all the Intellivision simply did not have as many good games at Atari 2600. So for me I would say Burger time. It is very good on the Intellivision.

To be fair, the Inty didn't have as many bad games, either.

I think I've probably put the most playtime into Q*bert, Space Spartans, and Astrosmash.

It would be a three way tie between Diner, Night Stalker, and Tron Deadly Disks. Diner just constantly blew be away with the 3D perspective and game play. As a kid I put in countless hours into Night Stalker, figuring out techniques for the different robots. I used to love how the tougher ones would just circle the bunker and pummel it with bullets. I would get so worked up about what I was going to do when I made a break for the gun that I would usually just stay in the bunker for a long time. Those later robots were pretty freaky to me. Tron was awesome because of the steady increase in difficulty, and the techniques that were used to defeat the bosses every few levels. I think Deadly Disks was ahead of its time.

I agree with Tron's Deadly Disks & Night Stalker. After watching Star Trek reruns those games were even more fun. They both had a lot of suspense to them. The bunker in NS was so awesome & then once the robots blew that up I freaked out. I also remember the frustration when the Recognizer would seal all my doors. I never played Diner. I think I'd add Snafu & Beam Rider as favorites, along with Burger Time as well.

Well, I'd probably hand it out to the excellent Thin Ice. I remember mail ordering that one ^_^

I enjoy seeing new threads on these often-discussed type of topics.  You get older, opinions (or memory) can change....it never gets boring to me.

Diner, Happy Trails, Thin Ice......all rank amongst my all-time favorites.  But put me down for AD & D Cloudy Mountain.  When I break out my Intellivision that cart is always the first one I grab.  It still is a thrill to turn the volume up on the TV to enhance the heart-ponding experience of hearing a dragon or snake nearby.
