I may have jumped the gun last night.

First order of business, configure the user info over to the left side of messages. It just feels wrong like this, can't stand forums that put it on the right.

Edit: I love that I can post *and* edit without having to wait in an approval queue! If the forum stays like this I expect to spend much more time here.

I appreciate the feedback, but before I take action and muck things up, let's see how the other users feel about it first.

Glad you got it up and working. Are you planning on changing the colors to match the site better? I'm looking forward to the new look.

A new forum is a good time to try out any other changes you were considering.

I thought to keep my sobriquet of "Scotland", but had considered just "Scotty".

Yay! Glad we get to keep our same usernames.

I notice with some embedded images that are at a fairly high resolution that were imported from the old forum, that they're not being scaled to fit my 4:3 desktop at 1024x768 like they previously were on the old forum. Instead, they're being cropped and I'm just seeing a zoomed in portion of them.

Would be nice if that could be fixed.

They're being cropped, rather than downscaled intact.

The spam has started... Can that user be banned or something. I guess the posts might require approval again if this keeps up... It hasn't even been one day yet and this is already going on. Perhaps posts could be auto improved if you hit over a certain post count or something to prevent spammers from taking over the forum.
