Have you ever felt "aged out" of gaming?

I know that this type of thing is usually frowned upon by itself and I usually take most things on Cracked with a rain of salt, so I'll elaborate a little more.

For those not familiar with the site, it's usually list based articles on various topics that are usually given some kind of comedic spin.

While I do not necessarily agree with all of what is supposed (I dislike immensely that it assumes everybody over 18 or reads watches their favorite things only in the hopes of being changed and supposing that escapism is something no longer natural), much of it has ringed true. Like why I barely play my 3DS anymore, why Pokemon Y didn't do it for me, and why I keep putting off getting Smash Bros. 3DS.

Now, I wonder how many of these things have any merit to you and gaming, or if I've just gone crazy.

You've gone crazy.

Actually, I think video games are more a generational thing. I'll be playing them if and when I'm 70. My parents never played them because they grew up beforehand and never got into them. The reason why a lot of us don't play as much is because other obligations take up our time. And we have other interests. Plus society still looks at gamers as "losers", which I guess there's some merit to, depending on your situamation.

At least we get to laugh at all the dorks playing Dungeons and Dragons.

My issue is:
-not a lot of time
-have other hobbies that compete for attention
-miss the social aspect of playing. That's because I was spoiled to playing with my brothers in my youth. Online stuff isn't a adequate replacement for that.
-most modern games are too "epic" for me. I need something fast to get in and out of
