No More Coming Attractions

I don't think too many of you will be sad I removed the coming attractions panel from the front page. It was becoming a hassle to maintain.

At any given time it seems like I've got upwards of 25 reviews "in progress". Sometimes I'll step away from a game and it'll take me over a year to complete a review. Sometimes I post a review before I even get a chance to post in on the coming attractions panel. So the info in the panel wasn't really all that accurate.

Plus I really don't need the extra pressure to finish up games just because they've been sitting in the "coming attractions" section for too long.

Your thoughts?

I actually checked in on that pretty regularly, but I can see how it would be a pane in the butt. Maybe a "now playing" panel?

I always checked it out too. But considering it wasn't accuarate, no problem. Too big of A hassle is understandable.

It was getting pushed further and further down the page anyway so I never even noticed it anymore. No biggie for me.

I rarely noticed it anymore, but I did like it. But if it's become a burden, I think we'll all survive without it. Plus, we get some insight into your future reviews in the "Now Playing" forum.

A good coming attraction would be some DSiware or PSP Minis unless you already include them in the DS/3DS/PSP sections?

There was a Coming Attractions feature?

I'm sad. I liked that feature and checked it often, but I understand if it was becoming a hassle for you to update.

I liked Coming Attractions as well, though I noticed that it wasn't always updated regularly (reviewed games would stay in the list for a while). It was nice to see games pop up that I was looking forward to seeing reviewed.

I found that about half of them would be reviewed right away and the other half would be reviewed several weeks later or not at all
