The first Black Ops game is the best first person shooter of all time.

The 3DS is almost as good as the GBA and better than the DS

Blast Corps is a top 5 N64 game.

I prefer the N64 to the NES and SNES.

The first Sonic Rush is boring, and Sonic Rush Adventure is much better.


Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is one of the best Sega games ever.

And as you all may know already, I think Mario Kart 64 is the worst game in the series, and Diddy Kong Racing is way better.

- As terrible as the Genesis/Megadrive sound chip is, I think it sounds much more interesting and full of life than the SNES sound chip (which always made me think of educational computer games).

- I prefer the look of many 3D 5th-generation games to 3d 6th-generation games; the more abstracted forms of the 5th-generation ended up aging better than some of the more "uncanny valley" 3d modeling of the following generation.

1. Star Fox 64 and Bioshock Infinite are below average.
2. Classic arcade game Galaga is good, not great.
3. Digital downloads are not evil.

Mario RPG is a horrible game

The N64 and GameCube were the worst Nintendo consoles, no reason to pick them over the PS2 and Xbox.

Sonic 3D Blast is INCREDIBLY enjoyable, especially on the GameCube with the analog stick, despite me just BASHING the godforesaken thing!

The Game Gear has one of the most BORING libraries in history.

The Genesis is better than the SNES, in every way.

KosMik Kroozr and Wacko are EXTREMELY enjoyable shooters, if you know how to play them right.

GTA 5 wasn't as good as IV.

Shadow the Hedgehog is NOT a stupid idea. I'm not gonna act like it's a good game, despite the soft spot I have for it. But I do think a darker adaptation of the Sonic franchise could work. I don't care if it's so dark that it gets an M rating. If it manages to do something fresh while also staying true to the series, it could make for a very kick-@$$ game. What I'd like to see is an adaptation with a stronger story and character development as well as stronger intensity to make his struggle more interesting, kinda like what "Man of Steel" was going for (minus the flaws). Maybe that's what Sega needs to give respect back to their mascot.

Arkham City was meh. Arkham Origins was garbage. Resident Evil 4 is unplayable garbage.

Dark Souls had crap controls and bored the shit out of me.

XIII was criminally underrated with a great local four-player multiplayer mode.

As a fan of B- and C-grade movies, Sega CD FMV games are good fun.

I see no problem with playing ROMs if you can't afford an old game or want to try it out before buying (Sega CD, 3DO, Dreamcast Model 1 have no copy protection, game prices are skyrocketing).

However, I think selling repros is wrong because you're selling another's intellectual property.

Wii U was my favorite console this generation.

The Wii had a bunch of great games.

Super Mario Sunshine was a great game.

- I'm not a fan of most AAA games

- The N64 is one of the worst systems ever made

- Mario 64 is pretty average

- Majora's Mask is much better than Ocarina of Time

- Wind Waker is the best 3D Zelda Game

- Super Mario Bros 2 is my favorite in the Mario series

- Racing Games and FPS could disappear forever and I wouldn't be the slightest bit sad about it

- I think Jaws and Friday the 13th are fun NES games

- Videogame design is, by and large, much worse today and developers don't understand the strengths of the medium

- I despise most stories in videogames

- The Wii U will be looked upon rather favorably several years from now. It will be like the Dreamcast...beloved by true gamers.

- Despite being a gaming curmudgeon, I still love this hobby!

Silent Hill: Homecoming is the worst Silent Hill game, bar none (although it's not a terrible game on its own)

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is best Silent Hill game since the first three (not really sure what to do with PT in this instance)

Games with large open-world areas sound great on paper but rarely work out in reality

I'd rather have a game that was too hard than too easy

Fighting games are the only competitive multiplayer game I really care about

Walking simulators are awesome (and don't deserve to be called "walking simulators")
