Should we play bad games for ourselves?

Definitely play the bad games! We all have different tastes. Most critics said Night Trap was horrible but I love it.
And even if the game is truly bad, it can be fascinating to witness how badly it faltered Bad games are some of the most interesting.
Plus, your expectations will be low so you're not likely to be disappointed!

I definitely get why some people would like to play bad games. It's the same reason they like to watch bad movies. Personally, I prefer to play *good* games, and watch other people play bad games on YouTube. Same reason I like to watch Mystery Science Theater or Nostalgia Critic-- it's more fun to watch someone else suffer (and listen to them rip into it) than to suffer yourself, you know?

I enjoy bad games occasionally, they make me appreciate the good games even more. They can also be fun to try and figure out the kinks to make them work (Dragon's Lair NES).
