The Video Game Critic

If a game you want comes out, but they're planning on releasing some DLC later, do you go ahead and buy it or wait for the GotY edition that includes all the content? I really want to play Horizon Zero Dawn, but I know they're planning on releasing The Frozen Wilds before long, and perhaps more after that, and I'm torn between buying the core game now, or holding out so I can get the version with everything in it.

I was waiting for Xcom 2 (PS4) to get a GOTY or Ultimate edition. The original Xcom got a dlc edition last gen. I got tired of waiting and figured they weren't gonna do it anyway.
