A modern Streets of Rage. That would be something on a console of today.

We need a new arcade racer from Sega surely a Out Run 3 or new Sega Rally is overdue ?

Or perhaps teaming up with Nintendo for another F-Zero ?

Yes, yes and/or yes. Probably never see a new Ridge Racer, either.

Shame that "90s Arcade Racer" ended up being a total Kickstarter dud...

I personally want to see updates/sequels to Sega's more unloved IPs (Unloved by the company, I mean, not the fans xD) like Ecco the Dolphin, Ristar, Streets of Rage, Dynamite Headdy, etc. Nearly every vintage Sega IP besides Sonic seems strangely ignored nowadays and I'd love to see them actually do something about that instead of just reselling the same games over again. For example, did you know there was originally meant to be an Eternal Champions 3? It sadly never happened, but dang I wish it did. It may be for the best considering how Sega treats their Sonic games nowadays, but I always want to see them bring something back from the dead like Comix Zone or Ristar. Hell, if some company can revive Bubsy Bobcat, then I think we can see a classic sega character like Alex Kidd or someone again.

I also really liked that Split/Second game, and that's saying something since realistic racing games don't usually interest me... maybe because dropping buildings on people takes the realism out of it? I'd love to see a new one come out on current gen consoles.

I loved that game. It was realistic in that it wasn’t a cart racer but that was totally an arcade racer, which we don’t see enough of anymore. It felt like a lot like a new generation burnout, more so than Burnout Paradise I think. I would love a sequel to that but I think that was done by Disney’s development company which has since been shuttered. I don’t know that it would garner enough interest for another developer to bother acquiring the rights.

I wish the Toshinden franchise would be revived. The Wii remake/game that shares the same name isn't a Toshinden game in my opinion.

Simply because I am a big fan of the franchise, but feel that they overstretched themselves back in the day by releasing them too quickly. Toshinden 3 and 4 held real promise, but weren't quite as polished as the first two games.

I always wondered if the fact that Disney made it meant that they were about to launch their own version of The Fast and the Furious movies, lol!
