Slow or Fast Combat?
I've always been bad at really fast paced action games, like Devil May Cry or Bayonetta, but today when I was playing Nier: Automata something occurred to me: I'm actually way, waaaay better at slower paced games like Dark Souls. Spectacle fighters need reflexes to dodge attacks that I just don't have, especially when there's no dedicated block button. But Dark Souls and games like it focus more on outthinking and outmaneuvering your enemies, rather than making sense of an unintelligible blur of motion. Which do you guys prefer, fast or slow paced combat?

I too suffer from slow reflexes. I don’t know if I’m particularly good at any combat, but certainly I have the hardest time with games like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta. I must have died 1000 times playing Bayonetta on normal difficulty.
