Xbox Controller for Gamers with Disabilities

Postby scotland » May 25th, 2018, 5:28 pm

In the recent thread on motion controlers, it came up that Microsoft has created a new adaptive controller that other assistive devices can be jacked into. Thought it was worth a thread so anyone could find it easier.

This is amazing. I don’t know what i’d do if gaming wasn’t my main pastime and it’s nice that we’ll theoretically be able to share our passion for gaming with those of differing abilities.

I’m not a huge fan of Microsoft when it comes to their gaming strategies at large. Their lack of exclusives is appalling and I don’t take “exclusives are no longer system sellers” arguments seriously. But they have done a lot this generation in taking steps toward pro-gamer/pro-consumer solutions. Backwards compatibility also comes to mind.
