Emerson Arcadia 2001 info!

Hey Dave! I knew you were debating weather or not to buy
and astrocade or ARCADIA 2001; well, they have all the info (and
more) you need at WWW.CLASSICGAMING.COM....just check under
CONSOLE MUSEUM. My god, they even have a review of the
CHANNEL F system..the only one I've ever seen (and you
are right, it is not worth getting...but it makes for
hilarious reading!)

Since you couldn't get the Astrocade, I'd deffinitely track down
this one....it has enough decent games to be worth it!

...so did you get/are you getting and Emerson, Dave?
As I said, it would be a worthwhile addition to the site...

I do. Got it from a friend that had it in the closet since the NES era.

It's nothing special to me, really. If anything, the boxes are good for a laugh. I'm surprised they weren't sued by Lucasfilms or by Namco. And the box art rarely seemed to have anything yo do with the game.

Ahh, Classicgaming.com......

I used to go there alot a few years back, that site is basically abandoned. It stopped doing "game of the week", "mailbag" and other key features. Hell Alienblue, if you look in the mailbag section, you'll see me answer tons of readers asking "what is the name of this game" week in and week out. Too bad it wasn't a contest of sorts, correctly guessing people's mystery games for a month straight shoulda gotten me a booby prize.
