The original God of War for the PS2 at Target -- $4.98 on clearance.

I also saw, but did not buy:

Kane & Lynch (X360) $19.99
Unreal Tournament 3 (PS3) $19.99
DiRT (X360) $19.99
Incredible Hulk (PC) $7.48

All of these were at Target. Every now and then, they sure do have some good deals!

I just picked up God of War II for $9.99 at Circuit City. If anyone is interested, I think the sale runs through tomorrow.

FIND:        GRID
PLATFORM:    Xbox 360
LOCATION:    Target (U.S.A.)
PRICE:       $15 (New)
DESCRIPTION: Less arcade-y than 'Burnout', less sim-y than 'Gran Turismo', GRID offers up a rough-and-tumble, visceral driving experience.  Rewinding time (ala 'Full Auto') enables you to undo mistakes (on easier difficulty settings), tempting you to try taking racing lines you might otherwise have avoided.

CONCLUSION:  8.5/10 - Great graphics and decent reviews apparently didn't matter when it came to sales of this new IP.  To be marked-down to 15 bucks this soon after release is both great (for consumers) and sad (for the industry).

FIND:        Donkey Kong Jr.
PLATFORM:    Arcade Cabinet
LOCATION:    Freecycle

PRICE:       Free, Nada, Zilch
DESCRIPTION: Working fine, needed a good dusting, was just taking up space so the owner let it go.

Game: American Mcgee's Alice (2000)
Platform : PC
Condition: New Jewel Case
Price: $0.96

I recently was looking for this great older twisted pc game of
Wonderland that I inexplicably never bought. So I figured I'd
try Ebay. All of a sudden the game starts at $30 used in
Jewel Case. I knew I had seen the game before at The Source
here in Canada for $14.99 When I went to their site, it said it
was liquidated to $0.96 and only one store had any left.
So I went and bought two copies. One to play and one to sell.

It rises from the grave! The thread that WILL NOT DIE...

FIND:        Track Mania
PLATFORM:    Wii

LOCATION:    Gamestop (U.S.A.)
PRICE:       $10 (New)
DESCRIPTION: Fast-paced twitch arcade racing.  Most races last (well) under a minute.  Challenge ramps up fairly quickly, if you want to "gold" all of the races.
   Bonus feature
: fairly elaborate track editor.
Bogus feature: online play with random folks =
      frustration (nobody to race against)

CONCLUSION:  7/10 - A fun little racer for the Wii.  Like "Excite Truck" for the ADD crowd.
