I would suggest looking at the map and looking for ways to fill in all of the dark squares. It isn't always obvious how to get over to one particular screen. Cut every bush and move every rock because you never know when there's a staircase or cave entrance hidden underneath. And when you get a new item from a dungeon, look all over the overworld for where you can use them.Sut wrote:nesfan wrote:I just beat The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX on Gameboy Color for the first time ever.
I've got the original Game Boy version and never seem to know what I'm supposed to be doing or where to go.
Congratulations and any tips would be appreciated!

Just beat Symphony of the Night on PS1. I last beat it in the late 1990's. I loved every minute of it back then, and now.

I just finished Return of Hercules for the Atari 800 (I bought it on ebay a couple of months ago but only recently sat down to play it).
I also recently made it through Pitfall - Mayan Adventure for Sega Genesis for the 2nd time but I still haven't won AND collected all the letters.

I just beat Paper Mario: Sticker Star for 3DS. It wasn't a terrible experience but unfortunately this game pales in comparison to its predecessors in every conceivable way.

I beat Bust-A-Move Millennium!
Made it through the Story Mode yesterday. Can't say I mastered it, since I had to use continues. Also note that I haven't seen the whole game; the story mode has branching paths, and there are a few other modes, so "beat" might be a bit of hyperbole.

And I didn't stop after I played it, GTA on gameboy advance is a rare gem but one that was well crafted by Rockstar Games, Bringing back those old nostalgia days of the top down view from GTA and GTA 2.
