Question over atari xegs and 8 bit computers

hi everyone,

I have been coming to this site for a while now and really like all the work that the videogamecritic and everyone has put into the site. I have sense acquired quite a few consoles (i think I have 14 now, not including portables) and have a question over the atari xegs that I recently got.

I read on the console review for it that you can play 5.25 floppy disks if you get a floppy drive but since this console was made the year I was born and I never owned an atari 8 bit computer before, I know next to nothing about it. I've tried to track down floppy games for it, because I noticed that quite a few of the games the critic has listed under his atari xegs reviews were floppy format (like Castle Wolfenstein and Summer Games) but I can't find anywhere online that sells games on floppy's.

Am I going about this the wrong way? I have been able to find quite a few games on sites such as eBay that are for the 400/800/xl/xe computers, which should work on my Atari xegs but are the floppy games something that I would need to download online and put onto a floppy (or find someone who has a collection of floppy games and get them copied? Or are they pretty rare these days and hopefully I'll find them on eBay some day?

Thanks for your time you guys. This site is really awesome and I really appreciate all the time people have put onto this site. It really reminded me that I have always had a huge passion for games and inspired me to go seek out all those old consoles (and ones I never heard of like the turbografx 16/duo) I grew up on as a kid.

I would try Best Electronics or B&C Computers for Atari XE games on both floppy disk and cartridge.
