2012/5/26: Arcadia 2001: Ocean Battle, Space Chess

I finally got a chance to update my Arcadia section after a few years. Sadly, these two games are pretty awful!

Critic actually if you look at your reviews D+ seems to be the average for this system and the RTS looks very interesting.
Shame about the space chess which looks utterly intriguing....
I would assume the extra button presses are to make it seem something more than just ordinary chess with different graphics....
Thanks for the reviews of these now defunct systems that never appeared in the UK. It makes for very interesting reading and I do not feel so left out of the systems as I might have done before I started reading your reviews.

Yeah! More Arcadia reviews. Sorry that they weren't very good. Actually, judging by your other Arcadia reviews, Ocean Battle isn't a bad Arcadia game.

Nice reviews. I found some Arcadia games at a Goodwill about 15 years ago, but I never sound a system so I eventually gave up and sold them on eBay.

One correction: In at least three places in the review, you refer to Space Chess as "Star Chess"....

Sorry, it was supposed to be STAR Chess.

Fine reviews, but I can't agree with the sentence "make normal Chess even more boring"... I agree it's boring to watch, but I think chess is still a great board game to play
