I think the Video Game Critic (VGC) should review games for mobile devices (like the iPad, Android, etc.) Who else agrees?

Eh, I don't really think that's necessary.

nah... it's a video game site mainly for consoles. Just like computer games, that would expand his scope to outrageous proportions...

Right, its just console games...oh and a bunch of portable systems, oh and the Commodore 64, oh and Atari 8 bit computers...

I understand 'scope creep', but the critic has creeped out a bit over time it seems.  I also just downloaded Bards Tale for Droid, and would like to see how it matches to the PS2 original. That said, going out to iOS or Droid though would be less than a little border creep than launching a land war in Asia, and we all know about the wisdom of launching land wars in Asia or matching wits with a Sicilian.  My guess is that the Critic adding mobile games would be 'inconceivable!'

Yes... Who he doesn't do the reviews for... He has the C64 critic do it. His main focus has always been the main consoles (with a side hobby of handhelds) as he didn't even post a review for his first handheld system until the Game.com and has few enough games for the Game Boy that he just threw them all together up until the DS. If he ever did a review for phone games I'm pretty sure the Nokia N-Gage would be the first thing on that list.

Ha ha. Wow, there's someone else like me still in the dark ages. I have a flip phone and refuse to upgrade. I can play with my wife's iPhone if I like, but I've only found a couple decent games (Jet Pack Joyride is good).

Honestly there are just so many, and of such varying specialization, and quality, I don't know how he'd get the time for that.

I think Dave should get a P.O Box and post the box adress on the site so we could send donations. Then we could just send him a phone or tablet.

I have a smartphone(technically it's my sisters old phone), but I only use it because it has FoxFi, I don't play games on it or anything.  I have a pretty good flip-phone which I bought 3 years ago.
