2013/9/1: Genesis: Blades of Vengeance, Mutant League Football

Let me know what you think about these two new Genesis reviews.

Blades of Vengeance is a pleasant surprise - a side-scrolling platformer that does just about everything right.

Mutant League Football is a re-review, and the grade was lowered from C- to D.

Never heard of blades of vengeance...   Mutant league football just looked terrible so I never bothered with it.

After looking at your review it sounds like it should be a F.

Never played Mutant League Football, nice to finally see a review on the game. I have heard a lot of mixed things about the game so its nice to get another opinion on it. I have never heard of Blades of Vengeance either. This game seemed like it would be a lot of fun. Good reviews.

Yikes, a D for Mutant League Football, and I see an F for Mutant League Hockey?  Normally I don't disagree that much with the critic, but in this case, WTF?!?!?  Ha ha.  The Mutant League games are not much fun on single player, but with other people there's no substitute on the Genesis, except maybe General Chaos.  The action gets insane.

Blades looks and sounds like Cadash. Can anyone confirm this assumption of mine?

Cadash is a similar game to Blades though Cadash was stripped down a bit....two characters vs. three for Blades.

Funny you reviewed Blades of Vengence because the first time I played it was two weeks ago. I was really impressed with it as well.

I always remember the Mutant League games being horrible.
