Screwattack's Top Ten N64 Games (10-1)

They already posted 20-11 a while ago, but I just saw the top 10 today.

Anyways, their list completely shocked me. In fact most of my favorite games on there made the list. And trust me, this is NOT a predictable top ten. You will be completely surprised by the top 5, let alone #1. Really good list.

i just watched the whole thing and I would have to say I disagree with the list but the fact that it was so different made it interesting to watch. I'm honestly surprised that several titles didn't make the list. Still, they did mention that they limited the list to 1 per franchise. I'm glad that my favorite game made the top spot though.

I had no idea #1 would be that. I love that game a lot, but I never considered it. I do disagree, but it's their opinion.

And that's what I love about Screwattack's Top Ten Videos; They're so unpredictable and keep you guessing forever which game is up next. The fact that they make you disagree makes it all the more better. I've watched them for more than 5 years and it always amazes me how awesome their videos are.

It seems like they just wanted to recycle the same old game sin a different order to be different. I hate watching these things in annoying video form, but this one I did.

I will say Jet Force Gemini is garbage, Mario Kart 64 is probably the worst game in the series (its very bland) and Mario Party is nothing special. Obviously the two best N64 games are Mario 64 and Ocarina, in that order.

Yeah I didn't understand how some of the titles made it on there but Perfect Dark was completely absent...

Also, I'm not sure how Turok and Shadows of the Empire got on there. They haven't aged very well, and are decidedly "middle tier" early titles, at best. I opted to play Crusin' USA and Wave Race 64 a lot more early on.  (I wouldn't call Crusin' USA or Wave Race 64 to be in top 20, either.)

Turok is a game you play solely for nostalgia. You are right, it hasn't aged well at all and Shadow of the Empire should have been given the boot as well. I felt like the list was more of a "Top 20 N64 games- in no particular order" then a top 20 countdown.

I originally thought the list would go like this:
3. Goldeneye 007
2. Super Mario 64
1. Ocarina of Time

But to my surprise, the list was different than usual. I was happy to see Star Fox 64 at the #4 spot. That's personally my favorite N64 game.
