Here's a new set of Atari 2600 reviews.  Elevator Action and Elk Attack are prototypes - hence the NA grades.  Do I need a "prototype" icon?

Elk Attack's graphics and gameplay are exactly the same as The Electric Yo-Yo, an arcade game by Taito that makes an appearance on the first Taito Legends compilation.

Nice reviews, VGC. But you might want to mention that Elk Attack is supposed to be a port of the arcade game, Electric Yo-Yo. I guess the programmer never got around to changing the name.

The Elk Attack review makes mention of a "Chipmonk."  Would that be a Buddhist ChipMonk, or a Catholic ChipMonk?

[confused] [biggrin]

Good reviews. Interesting to see Elevator Action, does this have to do with the NES title? They look practically the same. Have you ever played Elevator Action Returns for the Saturn? It is a pretty good import title and it has a really nice 2 player mode.

They're both ports of the original arcade game. I used to enjoy the arcade game when I was a kid. A local supermarket had it.

I fixed "chipmUnk" and a few other typos!

Now I'm kind of interested in the NES version of Elevator Action.

Elevator Action is one of my fave games. I Loved the Arcade & NES versions. Too bad it never got finished on Atari.

Mogul Maniac was meant to be played with a control pad you actually stood on, way ahead of Wii-Fit. I wonder if adults can use it?
