What games are you trying to collect?
While not too long ago I was on an insane quest for to get an Atari 5200 Bounty Bob Strikes Back (I lost an E-Bay auction even though I bid $400.00) I have since settled down. I got a C-64 disk copy and it has satisfied my hunger. In hindsight, I am relieved that my fever had settled back down to normal. I have a couple of excellent working Command Pro joysticks (let's be honest - who plays any Miner 2049'er game with the original 5200 stick?) but I simply do not trust ANY 5200 console or joystick for the long term.
That said....put me down for Intellivision's Spiker. This game is considered the Holy Grail of Inty collecting.
Look at this:

$800.00...REALLY?!?!?! It looks like a fun and quality title for the Intellivision. I want it. I am not a CIB type of guy. Just gimme the damn cartridge!!! But sadly, it seems to be out of reasonable reach. Is it really this rare?

I really want to get all of the worthwhile DS RPGs, starting with the three Dragon Quests. They're starting to get expensive though! DQV has gone back up to $40 for a new copy. I better hurry!

This is it. I have the game. But the system has managed to evade me for years.

What games are you trying to collect?
I don't really have like a set number of games that I should get absolutely before everything else. Instead, I have one really large list (like 12 pages) of games that I should pick up when I find a good price on it. I also tend to collect for one specific console for a while and then I'll move on to something else once I have cleared out a portion of that console. I recently was pretty focused on the Turbografx 16/PC Engine titles.

I recently ordered one game that's apparently become very hard to find nowadays for the PC- the director's cut version of Silent Hill 2, the original version is also rather pricey, sometimes going for over 100 dollars.
